Direct care assistant

DIRECT CARE ASSISTANT for residential home for people with intellectual disabilities.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Promote habits of personal autonomy, foster empowerment and personal satisfaction.
  • Support users in everything related to their needs.
  • Coordination with other professionals who provide care to the user.
  • Inform the person responsible for the service everything that is valued as relevant about the state of the person being cared for and the home.

TASKS:

  • Supervision of household chores (cooking, laundry, etc.).
  • Occasional medical accompaniments.
  • Carry out household cleaning tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have training related to the social sector or health sector.
  • Experience as a carer with disabled people.
  • Experience with cleaning tasks.

Location: Barcelona, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Sant Just Desvern

Schedule:

7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday

Day: Part time
